Welcome to the official website of the Zambia High Commission in London. The establishment of this website could not have come at a better time when so much is happening in Zambia, and the Government increasingly wants to engage the Zambians in the Diaspora.
Having only arrived in the UK to take up my position as High Commissioner to the Court of St. James, I am looking forward to interacting with the Zambians in the UK and working to improve their welfare. In as far as the UK/Zambia relations are concerned I look forward to help enhancing the good relations that already exist between the two Governments and its peoples. No doubt that the website will provide the channel for this interaction with the various partners of the High Commission.
During my stay in London, I will be interested in exploring further areas of mutual interest between Zambia and the UK. The promotion of investment into Zambia will be of priority to me. To date, the UK remains one of Zambia’s biggest trading partners. The UK Government’s unwavering support for Zambia in the areas of good governance, budget support and in the fight against corruption continues to be the hallmark of the two countries’ relationship. It is my desire to strengthen the relations that cordially exist between the two Governments to higher heights.
I am confident that the website will be a useful source of information for both our partners in business and the Zambian community in the UK. I further encourage all the friends of Zambia to browse through our website which has the links to many important sectors of our country.
